Danielle Smith joined Shaw / Yoder / Antwih, Inc. in December 2009. Danielle serves as the Director of Membership Services for the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Sacramento and the Central Valley. In this capacity, she manages and oversees the daily operations of the association and is responsible for providing leadership and initiative to carry out the association’s vision and mission.
Her duties for this client include: serving as the primary point of contact for all member inquiries; providing financial management, including writing and overseeing the annual budget and compiling and distributing monthly and annual financial reports; handling all administrative functions of the association; serving as a liaison between the membership, committees, board of directors, BOMA California, and BOMA International; overseeing all aspects of event planning; conducting a successful program of membership development; and serving as the “face of the organization”.
Danielle has over ten years of experience in increasingly responsible roles within the event management and association leadership industries. In her most recent position, Danielle managed the largest affordable home conference in the nation and independently managed the association’s membership and donor programs. Danielle holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Professional Meeting Planning Certification from California State University, Sacramento. She is currently working on her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation and is a member of California Society for Association Executives, Meeting Professionals International and ASAE & the Center for Association Professionals.
