Janneh R. Johnson joined the Shaw / Yoder / Antwih, Inc. team in March of 2017 as the Events and Education Director. She serves in that capacity for two of the firm’s association clients, the California Transit Association and the California Coalition on Workers’ Compensation.

Janneh began her career in event management in 1998 as a student event planner for San Diego State University, while completing her Bachelor’s Degree in International/Intercultural Communication. Following that, she attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) earning a professional designation degree in marketing and management.

For nearly 14 years, Janneh lead the strategic planning and implementation of all events for the California Primary Care Association, a non-profit healthcare organization that represents uninsured and underserved communities statewide and regionally to include the West Coast and the Pacific Basin. Taking their events and tradeshows to new levels each year, she also developed and managed multiple sponsorship programs and was influential in the marketing and overall design of materials and production for the events.

Originally from Flagstaff, Arizona, Janneh has resided in Sacramento most of her life.
